Summer (June, 6th grade)

Summer is a wonderful time

When little kids swim and climb.

When Moms and Dads sit down and see

That they are blessed with family.

When butterflies and bees

And all beautiful living things

Creep outside of their hiding places

To see some loving, smiling, faces

Summer is a time

When all the hills and rocks and mills

Are the prettiest they’ve ever been

When all the beaches are filled with fun, sun, and everlasting grins

I’m glad summer’s coming

And I bet you are too

So get ready for the end of June

Cause summer starts soon!
