This. place. Lord, thank you for this place and the work you continue to do here. In the midst of cohorts, online &
classroom discussions, conversations with professors & peers, visits to the library,
visits to local schools, writing papers, action research projects, TPAs, and truly learning, God brought transformation through truth, He brought life, peace, shalom, freedom, vision, & fellowship.
This place was never in my plans, nope, not at all, but it was certainly in God's. He is so good.
Every class I took here was excellent (ummmm, that Philosophy
of Education class? & that Psychology of Education class? Yup. top. notch.), but my very favorite class was most certainly The Life of
Christ. & why? one might ask. The answer is quite simple- the content.
Reading the gospels together in harmony and studying the life of Christ
broke/melted my heart all over again for Him. Jesus, I love you.
God, how
I desire to know you and love you not only with all of my heart, but with
all of my mind and all of my soul. May
you continue to use this place to equip "men and women in mind and
character to impact the world for the Lord Jesus Christ." God, may you be praised and lifted high.
"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set
you free.” John 8:32
"His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."
2 Peter 1:3-8
“Teacher,
which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: ‘Love
the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your
mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.” And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law
and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40
