at an organic sustainable farm where she is currently working. It was a wonderful experience as I not only got to see my friend but I also was able to share in a potluck, pick radishes, praise the Lord for the food that He raises from the earth, spend time with my sister and another Wheatie who accompanied me to the event, listen to music, watch the sun go down, and did I mention that I actually got to pick radishes from the earth? Spectacular!The purpose of this unique farm is to transform the land into sustainable organic farm-land (I kind of gave that away when I mentioned it was a sustainable/organic farm, huh?). This farm also provides a place for one-year interns to learn more about their relationship with God and His creation, and to grow in understanding of true community. I pray that this group truly pursues Christ in the midst of sowing and reaping. Press on!
